Things That Seem Insignificant

"If I could just get a Quatum Leap.""I just need one huge blessing, just one. " I Kings 19:11-12 " The Lord said to Elijah, "Go, stand in front of me on the mountain, and I will pass by you." Then a very strong wind blew until it caused the mountains to fall apart and large rocks to break in front of the Lord. But the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind, there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake, there was a fire. After the fire, there was a quiet, gentle sound. When Elisha heard it,he covered his face with his coat and went out and stood at the entrance to the cave. Then a voice said to him, "Elijah! Why are you here?" II. The Ministry God has given to me is about Wisdom in Wealth and Health 1. The Secret of the penny teaches us how doubling a penny for 30 days can make us very wealthy. 2. The Life of Rosa Parks teaches us how holding to your convictions can start a movement and make a huge difference in many lives. 3. Col. Sanders Life story teaches us how persistence pays off even when the odds are against you. 4. A parent with a small child teaches us how a tiny cell which some say is not important until 2nd or 3rd tri-mester can produce Priests, Prophets, Kings and etc. 5. To make significant changes in our lives, we must start somewhere. 6. It's not always the big, dramatic,breakthroughs or the quatum leaps to instant success. 7. Most of the time, it is redundant, repetition of a series of small steps. 8. Some writer stated, "repetition is the mother of all skill." This applies to good or bad. 9. What if you saved one-penny per day? You'd have thiry-cents at month end. 10. What if you exercised for ten-minutes each day times thirty days? You'd have five hours per month. 11. What if you lost just ten pounds at a time? 12. What if we lost one inch of of our waist-line at a time? Conclusion: You may say, "it was just a still small voice." "it was just ten-pounds." "it was just one dress size." "it was just one-class." "it was just...." "When we continously make small steps toward our goals we become very successful."
