Way IRS Treats BP Oil Spill Awards along the Gulf Coast

However, if you live (ed) in one of the seven Gulf Coast Oil lSpill cities the IRS is guiding since July 2010 in declaring losses due to the oil spill and the tax treatment awards should receive from the IRS. The IRS staff and I have been in consultation on this point since my wife and I returned from Mobile-Alabama's chief coastal city. There is much information I have to share. Also, much destruction and misery to victims of this spill. This information has already been shared with my community on facebook Black wome connect.com. We have learned that the IRS has established a dedicated phone line to field questions Oil Spill 'victims' may need for a quick, 'authoritative answer. Call 866-562-5227.
