BLACK PEOPLE Vs. AMERICA hoolllla bACK at dis

I have been personally affected by Hurricane Katrina.

I am not a charity case. Yes all my clothes are in New Orleans. Yes I have to temporarily find some classes to take until my college re-opens. Yes my checkbook and personal belongings is in New Orleans.

But this national disaster is BIGGER than me and personal adversities.

This is about racism, political greed, and financial gain.

You heard me. Florida, Bush was ready. And that was a little Category 1-2. But for a Category 5 he wasn't ready.

And in addition, he still waited a week probably sitting in his little board room, deciding how to make money off of that little city, while people starved and died. People are still starving and dying.

Hurricane Katrina is not a tv show that is about to be cancelled and people are waiting to see the reruns. This is going down in history. And if blacks (and poor whites) want to continue pretending we are seen as humans, we are definitely in for a rude awakening.

Black Entertainment Television. That is what the network is right? Well why don't theyreach out to the black people who do not realize this. There are young adults my age who just watch the music videos and drink the image they are fed, live it out and go on being materialistic naive zombies.

stop crying so much
B.E.T is not to blame they are not responsible for the black community. they are an organization that makes money. And how they make money is showing programs that we want to see. so in between the shows timberland, vodka, cucci and all of the rest will pay them millions to advertise.

so show let them show the tip drill videos and over dramatic college hill and shut up. they are not showing us anything that we do not want to see.

it is entertainment!!!! not information or revolution
