Are you a student looking for an opportunity to build your skills to make a bigger impact on your campus, community and world? Are you interested in advocating for global health and women's rights, preventing conflict, or impacting climate change and water scarcity? Next weekend, February 5th, AIDemocracy will host a leadership conference, 'Student Activist's Guide to the Galaxy,' aimed at helping students become more effective world changers, organizers, and leaders. When: Saturday, February 5, 9-30-5pm (Lunch provided) (with a special media training on Sunday, see below*) Where: George Washington University - Marvin Center Room 308 How: RSVP on facebook & get your ticket on Eventbrite now! Price: FREE If you do not live in DC, transportation and housing scholarships are available on a first come first serve basis.
