Candy Girl, You Are My World

If a student posts malicious comments about a teacher or if an employee posts malicious comments about his employer on Facebook and those comments yield adverse harm - their actions can be viewed as grounds for suspension or termination. What then of the teacher who posted a photo of one of her students in an effort to SOLICIT malicious comments about the student? Should 'she' face disciplinary actions by the school district?

LMAO Yeah, mom should have known better than braiding this little girl's hair with jolly ranchers. But it was still completely inappropriate for the teacher to post this online. Think about a doctor posting pictures of his patients, or a store employee making fun of his/her customers online. Not cool. A more responsible teacher would have had a little "conference" with Mom about appropriate dress for class.

Hi Jonathan! how are you? well we know where the mom's head was at-but there is a legal issue in the background. Here in NJ a teenager was mocked so savagely on facebook that she was attacked. What happens and the law are catching up to the criminal laws on the books for libel when it results in any kind of loss. This is a fragile being. She is a child. The ADULT in this scenario, that is the professional adult is demonstrating exactly what I find empirically to be the case in America today.

Adults who cannot distinguish between right and wrong anymore. Social networking is the means to an end. People are suffering from all types of personality breakdowns. Confusing is looming as to what is moral, what is ethical what is decent.
Supposed that this was 1970. A Teacher took a photo of this student and posted it in her local newspaper?

I am at odds with today's young teachers. They ARE part of the problem as far as am concerned. No leadership, no beauty of character to emulate. The above is much more frequent than we are exposed to.
