Kwame Kwei-Armah becomes Chancellor of the University of the Arts London

Posted By: Stacie Coulter on April 13, 2011 By LCC Admin: Kwame Kwei-Armah is the new Chancellor of the University of the Arts London and takes up this honorary post with immediate effect. His association with the University began in 2002 when he studied for an MA in Screenwriting at LCC whilst appearing in the BBC Drama Casualty. Kwame became the first black British playwright to have a play performed in the West End with Elmina’s Kitchen in 2005. You can read more on the University of the Arts London’s News and Events blog.
