Posted By: Jasmine Mobley on September 17, 2005 Well, I am new to this HBCU connect thing. I don't really know what I am doing. Is there some help out there? A little bit about myself? Shall we.. My name is Jasmine. I am a high school junior and I am starting to look for places to go to college. I feel hella dumb because I don't know what to do at this point. I plan on having a future career in the Medical Field. I think I want to minor in Journalism, though. People are steadily on me about what I need to do, "Get your scholarship stuff!" "Sign up for..." When in actuality...I didn't know WHERE to look. SOOO...I got on FastWebs one day and that's where I heard about HBCU...But whatever. I think I got the best advice from someone today... "Jasmine...you need to find 5 colleges you want to go to. Apply to them. When you get that situated, plan a campus visit. And you should go to the library and get a scholarship book. All this should be done by November." So with all that in mind...I am on here, looking around seeing what most of the members like and dislike. Feel free to let me know what school you go to, and what you like and dislike about it. I guess that's enough for right now. I hope I get some feedback.
