He Made My Day

Posted By: Tameka Boone on September 20, 2005 Okay, so I've been talkin' to this guy I met a while back. He is so charmin' and he is so fine. He's away in Colorado now doin' the Army thing, but we talk every other day. Anyway, the other night while I was layin' in my bed, I was feelin' a little down about some things. Then my boo called and made my day. Now the conversation only lasted 40 secs., but it was a meaningful little conversation to me. He called to say hi because we hadn't talked in a couple of days and he said I was on his mind. I said "thank you" because I really appreciate when people have me in mind. Then he said, "No, thank you." I asked him for what and he responded, "Just for bein' you. You just a nice girl that I love chillin' with." Immediately, everything that was troublin' my mind disappeared. I hope that he and I build somethin' great together because he is what I've been missin' in my life. So if you're a guy readin' this and you think the world of a particular girl, tell her that. Don't hold back because she may feel the same about you and you may strike up a meaningful relationship. Ladies, don't make the mistake that I've made in the past by dealin' with immature, inconsiderate, and vain guys. They mean you no good, and they're out to destroy your decency. They want to make it hard for the guy that is worth the time, and you don't want to miss your man messin' around with that nonsense.
