Posted By: LaShonda Redd on September 24, 2005 You know ever since Katrina hit alot people have been bending over backwards to help these people out. Anyway i donated $60 to the red cross to help them but it doesn't seem like enough but thats all i have. I was on my way home on the bus from Alabama and i met this dude on the bus that was affected by Katrina. He was telling me about how he couldn't find his family and or friends and how someone gave him the clothes he had and he didn't have any money or no a place to live. We was on the bus for a whole day together yall. Anyway we were making pit stops and he didn't have the money to eat so i asked him was he hungry and he nodded of course and i brought him dinner and lunch that day and when it was time to go our separate ways i gave him forty dollars and hoped that it would help cause that was my last 40 dollars.
