When is it okay to lie

Posted By: Kayla Robinson on June 22, 2011 I myself have never been one for lying so I really don't understand how people feel the need to do such a thing. I mean really, what's so wrong with being truthful? The truth is easier to remember and you're not tainting someones trust in you. But....I have been in situations where I have lied to protect someones feelings or to obtain information. I guess that's what they call a little white lie. But how do you justify what is a white lie from being downright untruthful? Let's say you with your girl and ya'll bout to go out to the club and she ask you how she look. Now, you sizing her up and she look like who did it and what for. I mean, when you look at her you wanna ask her is everything alright. What would you do? Say " Giiirlllll, u wearin the hell out that dress!' or are you going to be truthfull and tell her " Umm, u look like u tryin out for the role of celie." Seriously, how can you tell your girl her outfit look like BOOTY LINT without hurting her feelings? Sometimes there are appropriate times to lie...just don't make it a habbit.
