Posted By: How May I Help You NC on July 08, 2011 Assistant/Associate Director of Admission: Cambridge Friends School is a co-ed day school serving students in grades PK-8. It is the mission of Cambridge Friends School to provide an outstanding education. Guided by Quaker principles, we engage students in meaningful academic learning within a caring community strongly committed to social justice. Cambridge Friends School seeks an outgoing, energetic, detail-oriented individual to join the Director of Admission and Financial Aid and Associate Director of Admission in managing all aspects of marketing, outreach, enrollment management, and financial aid for the School. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • provide administrative support, including mailings and other office related tasks that are crucial to the admission and main offices • phone and written communication with prospective families from the initial inquiry call to enrollment as well as interface with various constituents at the school, including faculty, parents, alumni, and trustees • database management • help to maintain the office calendar and schedule appointments • provide admission tours • interview prospective parents and/or students • participate as a member of the Admission Committee • help plan, organize, and execute admission events • provide support for the financial aid process as directed by the Director of Admission and Financial Aid • plan, participate, and implement internal and external marketing strategies for the school • participate and represent the school in various outreach and recruiting efforts • complete special projects and other duties related to admission, as directed by the Director of Admission and Financial Aid. Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required. 1-5 yrs experience in admission preferred. Organization and attention to detail essential. Experience in marketing and education preferred. Ability to effectively communicate in person, in writing, and on the phone. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office products and comfortable with databases, social media, and emergent technologies. Self-motivated, bright, confident, personable, organized, flexible, strong work-ethic, and a sense of humor will be sought-after traits. Willing to work beyond traditional office hours, including evenings and some weekends. We seek candidates who will add to the racial, cultural, and gender diversity of the school community.
