SR TECHNOLOGY PROJECT MANAGER-20536 Description CTB, a division of McGraw-Hill Education, has an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic leader who can direct successful multiple multi-million dollar technical projects with diplomatic persuasion and discretion. The Senior Technology Project Manager will be based at our facility in Monterey, CA. You will be responsible for the delivery of all technology-related components for assigned projects. Deliverables must meet defined criteria for scope, cost, time, quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include tracking of schedule and budget related to all phases of a software development life cycle. You will take on greater responsibilities as assignments become more challenging and complex. Essential Accountabilities: • Manage large scale, complex technology projects that cross multiple platforms and business units • Coordinate across technology organizations to create project plans ensuring implementation within baseline schedule • Manage daily operational aspects of a project and scope o Coordinate closely with a Scrum master for projects executed using the Agile Scrum methodology; provide release/Sprint level scope, schedule and budget information • Evaluate change requests, provide impact analysis, cost and effort estimates to PMO with minimal supervision • Manage project budget ensuring project is tracking to it • Work in partnership with other technology managers to ensure appropriate resources are allocated to meet deadlines • Build, develop, manage strong successful teams through leadership and team organization • Minimize exposure and risk on project by proactively identifying risks and putting risk-mitigation steps in place; communicate risks to all levels of audiences • Communicate effectively with PMO, business owners and other technology managers to resolve schedule conflicts and effectively manage escalation process to facilitate timely resolution Apply Online: https://mh.taleo.net/careersection/3/jobde...
