Alcorn State, MS-- The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) recently announced the 2011 Commissioner's All-Academic Team, recognizing sixty-two student-athletes from Alcorn State University who achieved academic success during the 2010-11 academic school year.The team honors student-athletes with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.Alcorn State University has a rich history of producing scholarly athletes. We are very pleased with our student-athletes who are committed to both the challenges in the classroom and in their respective sports, stated Dr.
