ST. MARY'S VOLLEYBALL: St. Mary's 3-2 victory over Dowling and 3-0 sweep of American International College at the American College (Mass.) tournament enabled the 9-0 Rattlers to equal their best start since 1996.
All-tournament selections Allie Murray of Reagan and Stephanie Proske were instrumental in the wins with the biggest contributions coming against Dowling.
Proske had 13 kills, and Murray had 50 assists and 20 digs. In addition, Karlie Ortega of Brandeis led St. Mary's with 19 kills.
UIW MEN'S SOCCER: Carlos Picado had all three goals in the Cardinals' 3-2 victory against former Heartland Conference opponent St. Edward's and followed with a header in a 5-0 victory against Lindenwood last week.
OUR LADY OF THE LAKE MEN'S GOLF: Aaron Flores of Holy Cross has been selected to play in the Patriot All-American Invitational on Dec. 28-30 at The Wigwam in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
Flores, a junior second-team NAIA All-American, was medalist at the Red River Athletic Conference tournament as a freshman and was runner-up a year ago. He has participated in back-to-back NAIA tournaments.

EMILY JORGENS: Trinity women's soccer Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week after scoring four goals with seven assists in the seventh-ranked Tigers' shutout victories over UT-Tyler, UT-Dallas, Schreiner and Greenville.

Tatsch, a senior from Reagan, was named the American Southwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week and the D3.com wide receiver of the week after a record-breaking performance.
He caught 13 passes for a school-record 265 yards and two touchdowns (89 and 31 yards) as the No. 16 Cowboys toppled No. 10 Cole 41-14.
Tatsch was just 11 yards shy of equaling the conference's record for receiving yardage in a game when he made his final catch with 13:35 remaining in the third quarter.

Brooke Martin: LSU-Shreveport soccer Junior from Boerne Champion was tabbed the NAIA national offensive player of the week after tallying a school-record four goals against both Louisiana College and LeTourneau. She is the Lady Pilots' all-time leading scorer.
Kaelen Valdez: Angelo State volleyball Sophomore from O'Connor played a key role in the Rambelles (11-0), ranked 20th in NCAA Division II, finishing 6-0 last week, including going 4-0 in winning its own tournament. She was named all-tournament at the ASU Invitational and had career highs of 19 kills and 20 digs in a five-game victory against Incarnate Word.
Emily Rogers: University of Dallas soccer Sophomore from MacArthur was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week after anchoring the Lady Crusaders to back-to-back shutouts.
Sharis Lachappelle: Houston soccer Freshman from Johnson had the game-winning goal and two assists in the Cougars' 9-0 victory against Texas Southern.
