Posted By: How May I Help You NC on October 28, 2011 SUMMARY OF POSITION: Plans, develops, and coordinates the execution of integrated, multi-tactical marketing programs responsible for producing customer (PSU) and revenue growth in the residential segment. Responsible for the development and execution of bundled growth strategies, and for the marketing launch and ongoing maintenance of new CHSI related product introductions and product enhancements, as well as the pricing, product features and overall user experience for residential customers. Responsible for defining and overseeing the communication of CHSI consumer value proposition with consideration of key consumer segments. Generates sales leads for all sales channels (call center, web commerce, retail partner locations) utilizing mediums that include television, direct mail, print, radio, and other tactics to expand market share and to increase revenue. Works closely with the field locations, other groups within Corporate Marketing, and other functional departments to develop effective marketing programs that deliver targeted penetration and financial results. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Develops annual marketing strategies and plans for Cox High Speed Internet, including recommended market share and revenue targets. 2. Develops effective direct marketing and advertising vehicles to drive Cox High Speed Internet penetration and works closely with individual systems to achieve targeted local performance. 3. Provides direction and influences execution for CHSI in web, retail, direct, third party and call center channels. 4. Constantly monitors the competitive broadband marketplace and recommends changes in Cox High Speed Internet service, pricing and marketing tactics, where warranted. 5. Responsible for extracting relevant and valuable consumer insights via research then developing, communicating and executing strategies to capture value for CHSI that leverage the data. 6. Works closely with Product Strategy Team to gain alignment on product roadmap priorities, taking a lead role with respect to consumer insights and segmentation. 7. Identify and implement tools to analyze and measure video service performance against several different success criteria, including penetration, revenue, retention, and the effectiveness of specific marketing programs. 8. Responsible for monitoring product performance relative to internal goals and other relevant benchmarks. Will produce regular reporting with insights on product performance and recommendations for changes to the marketing mix as appropriate. 9. Ad hoc analysis of system and/or vendor generated pricing and packaging proposals. 10. Other responsibilities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, marketing, or equivalent is required. Advanced degree with an analytic or quantitative focus or MBA is strongly preferred. 2. 10+ years work experience at a managerial level in marketing, or product management in a competitive industry with strategic marketing responsibilities is required. Work experience in a subscription-based business, with a competitive on-line or ISP provider or a fast paced telecommunications or entertainment provider is ideal. 3. Experience leading teams 4+ direct reports and also leading diverse cross functional teams. 4. Strong analytical /financial analysis background. 5. Familiarity with analytical tools including Excel and SQL. 6. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative skills to work effectively in a matrix management environment. 7. Creativity to come up with innovative solutions 8. Excellent interpersonal and consultative marketing skills, to work in partnership with field marketing staff, functional boundary partners, and external vendors to achieve overall and local performance goals. Strong Track record of effectively partnering across corporate disciplines and with field organizations 9. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive change in an organization where marketing responsibilities and product management are shared. 10. Self-starter with ability to define and evolve product, price, production and advertising programs and to serve as Cox*s in-house expert on the service, industry and competition. 11.
