The Small Things; Zechariah 4:10 "Who despises the day of small things?"

The Small Things; Zechariah 4:10 "Who despises the day of small things?"

I have a habit where I will walk to the woods part of park; I sit and view nature and talk with God.
On the way back a woman who is a short, middle-aged, Spanish School Patrol officer stopped me.
She held her sign up, pressed the light button and would not let me pass by. I told her, "You know if you were not here I would walk on across right?".

She replied laughing, "I am looking out for your safety until it is safe passage." The light turned green and I started to walk across, she walked out in front of me holding her stop sign up to traffic, even though the traffic had stopped. Then she replied, "it is safe for you to walk across."
Being a sentimental man, I take that as a sign from God:
"It is safe for you to pass on through now."

Dear Brother Hemmans III, I would like to hear from you more often, I need a motivational words from the Lord all the time, so get up and stop sitting down on your gifts. If you are too busy in class, or your profession I can understand. I have a 7 page summary to complete and read several chapters this week myself.
I've missed you, but I've been busy. I encourage you to write more. The race was given to the swift and the strong, but it is up to "he" that endureth til the end.
Be encourage, and my favorite spot is the ocean. I go to the ocean when I have issues that are bigger than me. I collect my thoughts and sometimes I actually get a revelation.
It is good when brethern fellowship together. Contiue lifting up the name of Jesus, because the wage you pay will be your own. I am encouraged that you posted today, again, I have been busy.
Have a blessed holiday season, and remember Jesus is the reason for this season,no matter how the world trys to faze him out of it. When I find my ocean pictures, I will share them with the team. God bless and I hope you smile and cheer up, it is not always going to be like this. Even the under-dogs have "Victory".

Wow Wanda...
I just happened to be checking my email on my cell while out and about handling business.
I am very touched and I appreciate your honesty.
I know somewhere in Proverbs the Bible speaks about chastisement to a wise person vs. chastisement to a fool. A wise person which is choice will accept and be wiser. I recently posted to face book about resuming writing again and that I'm easily distracted. Each time I plan to complete my Book, I stated "All hell breaks out against me."
I am in Graduate School now and have other business like work, etc. But I have no excuses. I have stated I am afflicted like Job and Jonah when not on task to do what I must for me.
I tell people that Quotes are alive because they are usually born from a struggle...
Feel free to keep me in your prayers and I will do same for you. I have my Grad Final on Mon. I then plan to focus as time permits on writing. I am trying to rebuild walls that have been broken down over time.
I had to turn in my laptop today for repairs, but I have access to another laptop.
I am very grateful for your words that are right on time.
The Ocean is my favorite spot as well. When I am out there I have a saying that I leave it all out over the Ocean. Been a while since I've been to the Ocean. I am a nature lover so country works for me or when I find a spot where I can just sit and talk with God.
Good to hear from you as well.
Feel free to keep in contact as time permits and also I pray best for your studies.
I pray that you, family and friends as well as all had a great Thanksgiving week and a good Friday instead of a "black" Friday.
Take care and pray that you have a great weekend.
God Bless,
Sincerest,
William (^;^)

p.s. Thank you for the Godly chastisement in well-meaning spiritual love.

I read something in O magazine the other day that might encourage you and others. Oprah was giving a pep talk to her girls in South Afirica, and she said, "We talked about how the world really works.. how not to take those credit card offers(!)....how to live wihtin your means -even when your means are zilch...how to discover your own truth, themn hold on and not let it slip away. How every experience and encounter, positive and negative, has the potential to contribute to your personal developement...how there's no such thing as failure-jusdt God pointing you in a new direction.
When I read this, I melted, because they were my exact thoughts and they became rhema in my spirit. Remember that the things we are test by, are the exact same things that will bulid us, and make us better as we journey this walk. It doesn't matter who gets there first, but it matter's how faithful and obedience we are to complete our on destiny. Your Destiny is Taylor made for you, so every seam is precise and authentic, now go forth and enjoy your life. This too shall pass and you will look back on it and say "How Great is our God!
God bless you,

Yours in Christ,
Wanda

I really dig this, appreciate the share of your words and great to know you are blessed as well with revelation.
I can't add much more to what you said in that quote, so I will let it stand as meant to be on it's own for all to see who may pass by.
God Bless and have a great weekend.
I have to focus on a Grad School Final on Monday and then my next priority goal...
Appreciate :)
