The Field Recruiter is a part of the Retail team who will discover, attract, and successfully hire the most amazing talent available for every open position. Will represent the Microsoft Store culture, fully portray the value of the employment opportunity, and champion the overall candidate experience. The Field Recruiter will provide end to end recruiting support including; directly sourcing, interviewing, qualifying, negotiating offers and on-boarding internal/external candidates to fill open job requisitions. Summary of Essential Job Functions: Manage a scalable, repeatable, and measurable recruitment/staffing process and methodology to ensure hiring goals are met. Formulate creative and multiple sourcing methods to achieve a supremely qualified and highly diverse talent pipeline overflowing with candidates. Coordinate the development, communication, and implementation of hiring plans with Store Leaders, Operations, and HR Business Partner. Execute and drive the hiring plan results to deliver timely fulfillment of all open job requisitions. Learn and understand the technical skills and abilities requirements for all job roles and the subtle distinctions of each store location by effectively building relationships with all hiring managers. Provide appropriate coaching and guidance on the interviewing and selection process to all hiring managers. Facilitate the offer process and determine all details to include; salary, background check, relocation eligibility, start date, contact person, and initial training location. Proactively provide reports and metrics which measure recruitment effectiveness and hiring status. Manage and participate in outside vendor relationships (agencies, job fairs, search boards, advertising, college placement offices, etc.). Maintain all record keeping, reporting, and applicant tracking tools in accordance with all legal compliance guidelines. Engage, educate, excite, and empower both applicants and employees alike with the same level of passion and commitment. Smile, have fun, work hard, and achieve success. Minimum requirements: Minimum of three years’ experience in field recruiting or staffing, preferably in a sales, consumer electronics and/or high-end retail environment. Demonstrated performance record of developing qualified recruiting sources and building talent pools. College Degree Preferred. Additional Skills and Abilities required: Significant travel will be required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in addition to strong interpersonal skills. Ability to remain positive, lead, and embrace change. Thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, public facing environment.
