The cause of it is homophobia. You see a bunch of religious fanatics and politicians doing everything in their power to discriminate against homos*xuals. A lot of black leaders would have you believe that homos*xuality is destroying the black community. In reality, ignorance, apathy, sloth, and organized religion is destroying the black community. No one should have to hide who they are, but many do out of fear. They don't want to become victims of a hate crime. The only way to solve the problem is to fight the ignorance.
