Hampton University Annual Fashion Show-GOSSIP!
|
Posted By: Daniel Moss on October 12, 2005 gossip "Cacoethes Loquendi" Premiering OCTOBER 20, 2005 In cooperation with Hampton University, Moda Quo 10 Productions presents our 2nd annual fashion show! Lights, Cameras, Action! It's our time to shine as we rip the runway in a fierce and fabulous runway show extraordinaire! This year’s fashion show will be the hottest and most highly anticipated event featuring couture and ready to wear creations from top labels and designers. Everyone is welcomed and tickets will be sold on Hampton University's campus two weeks prior to the date of the show. The fashion show is primarily a showcase for Moda Quo 10 and designers who create couture and finely tailored garments. Moda Quo 10’s vision is to awaken and enlighten all to the essence of true fashion: a combination of human creativity combining art, form, and functionality. The show leads off Hampton University's Homecoming 2005, and our goal is to bring in all activities and festivities in style, through the kick-off of our show! In addition to being a unique opportunity for talented fashion designers, the event promises to attract the participation of some of the most creative makeup artists, trend setting hair stylists, dancers, and stunning runway models anywhere! Participating retailers and designers from last year’s show include Baby Phat, Sean John, Adidas Missy Elliot Respect Me, Commonwealth with styles by Stussy, Ice Cream, LRG, and Zoo York, Up Against the Wall with styles by Evisu, Christian Dior, D&G, and Juicy Couture, also J-Lo by Jennifer Lopez with many more to offer this year. Among our sponsors are corporations such as HBCUConnect.com, In Style Magazine, Sony, and VP records. Our up and coming designers will feature the likes of Vincit, Nystorm, Orlando, P.M.A.D. (Paul Michael Allen Davis), and Wisdom. Fashion is a language that tells a story about the person who wears it. Clothes create a wordless means of communication that we all understand. At the end of our show we hope our breathtaking, over-the-top runway production will leave onlookers, amazed and dazzled! In other words "Gossip" is sure to follow!
