For HBCU to encourage young blacks asking "are you ready to take a stand to defend our nation" is appalling. As veteran, I suggest that historically, and now it's a hipiacritical statement. There is too little space for me to explain in this forum, so I suggest that before a young black enter the military, talk to a Black veteran. And no, I don't dislike the military, nor do i have issues with thouse who are serving. I do have issues with the continued discrimination against Blacks in the military when it come to promotions and awards. You don't have to believe me, just watch the Penagon Channel.
