Invitation: NAACPConnect Hosts Live Video Chat with Actress & ACT-SO Alum Edwina Findley

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on January 26, 2012

NAACPConnect, the official social networking hub for the NAACP Youth & College Division and (ACT-SO) participants, invites you to participate in a live, interactive video chat with actress & ACT-SO alumni Edwina Findley on Tuesday, January 31st at www.NAACPConnect.org.

Findley (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1731401/) is a young, fresh and innovative talent who has appeared in various roles in theatre, film and television. She is best known for portrayal of “Tasha” on HBO’s The Wire. Most recently she co-starred in the hit series Treme on HBO.

Currently, she is at the Sundance Film Festival to premiere Middle of Nowhere, an independent film.

The live chat will take place on www.NAACPConnect.org at 7pm ET/4pm PT. Participants can visit the NAACPConnect site to watch and interact via video, Facebook and Twitter with Edwina. No RSVP required.

NAACPConnect launched in November as an online meeting space for youth leaders to connect with each other and network with NAACP alumni.

If you have any question about participation in the live chat, email NAACPConnect Project Manager Larry Brown at lbrown@naacpnet.org
