VIKING NEWS: Tashana Raley and Paneisha Eure named CIAA's Bowlers of the month

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on February 04, 2012 Feb. 2, 2012 HAMPTON, VA- Elizabeth City State University's Tashana Raley and Paneisha Eure have topped the monthly CIAA Bowling honors as released by the CIAA Office Thursday afternoon. Tashana Raley has been named CIAA Bowler of the Month while freshman Paneisha Eure has been tabbed as the Rookie of the Month. At the CIAA Northern Division Event #2 held this past weekend in Richmond, VA, Tashana Raley, who hails from Charlotte, NC, bowled an average of 184.56 with and topped all performers with an event best 243. Paneisha Eure had a solid outing and was named Rookie of the Mont after rolling a 211 and finishing with an event average of 161.67. The Lady Vikings posted a 9-1 record over the weekend and currently sit in first place atop the CIAA Northern Division with a 26-4 conference record. They boast CIAA best 43-13 overall record. The Lady Vikings will return to action February 10-12 at the CIAA North/South Roundup in Charlotte, NC.
