Black Cowboys are for Real

Posted By: Abe Morris on February 12, 2012 In recognition of Black History Month, I was interviewed on a Radio Blog talk show called True Cowboy Radio. Katie Bartlett is the host of the show. A little background information of myself is I'm an African American rodeo cowboy, retired professional bull rider, television commentator, professional rodeo announcer, author of two books "My Cowboy Hat Still Fits" and "Justin: A Father's Fight for His Son", free-lance writer for Humps N' Horns Bull Riding Magazine, licensed and registered professional representative in the financial services industry, motivational speaker and a proud single father for my young son Justin. I have plans to write at least three more non-fiction books on the sport of professional rodeo. One book will be about African American bull riders who had a significant impact on our sport.
