(NPHC) is excited to unite as One NPHC and partner with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to fight pediatric cancer, sickle cell disease and other deadly illnesses. From March 1 to April 5, members of the NPHC organization, affectionately known as the Divine 9, will collaborate on a Call to Service for St. Jude to raise awareness and funds in support of the patients and their families at St. Jude. NPHC will make history and show America our strength by raising $383,000. We also need your help to make this event a success by securing volunteers for the eleven Radio One radio-thon events and encouraging (graduate and undergraduate) members of the NPHC organizations to sign up to participate in the St. Jude 30-day, peer-to-peer fundraising challenge leading up to the radio-thon. The 11 markets participating are: • Atlanta • Charlotte • Cincinnati • Cleveland • Detroit • Houston • Indianapolis • Philadelphia • Raleigh • Richmond • Washington, DC ** Top fundraiser from each organization will receive a trip for two to Memphis to attend the National Civil Rights Museum Freedom Awards in November. We will have a conference call to discuss your council’s participation with this event. If you council is in one of the 11 cities or surrounding areas or would like to know more about this event, please join or have a representative to attend a call.
