Posted By: How May I Help You NC on March 15, 2012 The unitary engineering co-op will help in the product development and production launch of the variable speed compressor. Work to include engineering analysis and testing of various compressor components to help understand design limits. Key area of work includes sound and vibration, oil management, thermal management and journal bearings. Co-op will support new product development, facilitate customer sample builds and testing, support production, develop engineering test plans, test hardware and analysis test results.
Job Requirements
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. Cumulative or major GPA of 3.0 or higher. Basic understanding of engineering concepts and problem solving.Must also be knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft suite of products (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
