Tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in Applied Psychology

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on March 20, 2012 The Department of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Stout invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in Applied Psychology to begin in August 2012. A PhD in Psychology or closely related field is required. Successful candidates must have a background in applied psychology with area of specialization in health promotion and disease prevention or evaluation research/program evaluation. Previous college-level teaching and advising experience is highly desired. Interest in developing external experiential learning opportunities for graduate students is also preferred. The successful candidate will contribute to both the undergraduate and graduate programs in the department and will be interested in serving as program director for the MS in Applied Psychology in the fall of 2012. Faculty members teach the equivalent of 12 credits per semester (with 3-credit course release for program director). Faculty are expected to develop an active program of scholarship, advise graduate theses, engage in university service, and support a culture of collegiality and civility. Scholarship is defined broadly and includes both research and external consulting. Your scholarship interest statement should include your past experiences and future plans.
