Posted By: Tureka Moore on March 31, 2012 The world is looking at the Treyvon Martin case. But are we looking or are we paying attention? Are we learning from this incident and realize we are in trouble. This is way beyond Treyvon. Zimmerman is safe because of a law that many states has. The states was able to pass this law because the voters wasn't paying attention and did not vote. It is soooo important to know who you vote for to get in those seats and make these laws. It's scary we have people in these seats who can join coporations and company we spend our many at to work together to push these crazy laws through. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! GO VOTE. VOTE each year. It's more important to vote for your senators and congressmen and women, because these are the folks making the laws. Even the President have to push many of his things through them. We all voted Obama in and went to sleep when it was time to bring him some support. Now the world is mad at him, because change isn't happening. For the future of our children and ourselves we MUST pay attention and take action. Now don't do what spike lee did that was dumb. Go Vote let's put the right people in office who WANTS to change this world, not the folks who allow lobbiest to come and dictate to them. Go out to these rallies. You be amazed about what you gain from the experience. Also listening to your children and pay attention to them. Pay attention to what is going on in their world and yours. KNOWLEGE is the key to many of things. When it's all said and done, GOD will get the Glory in this all.
