Become Satisfied

Posted By: Anthony Dillon on October 17, 2005 When will people be satisfied? I learned that humans are greedy in general. Sometimes we forget how blessed we are. My pastor stated on Sunday that people are sometimes ungreatful. For example, she said that women may pray for a dress, and she gets that dress. When she gets that dress she needs matching shoes; when she gets the matching shoes she needs the purse, and when she gets the purse she needs the coordinating jewlry. My pastor said, why be greedy God provides you with what he wants you to have. So, if you trying to get a benz, and it's not happening for you; it's because God don't want you to have it because you will forget about his worth, and you will lose faith. God gives us what we need and he works through us. If we got everything we want then we will forget about God's grace and his amazing worth. So, if you ask how come I go to church, and do good in my life and I get nothing; in reality you have everything that God wants you to have at that time. Let God use you, and he will provide everything that you will need in life. When we don't have anything or in a situation that's when call on the lord. For example, help me get an A on this test lord, but we don't study for the test. I learn to practice prevention. Get right with God and you don't have to stress or worry; just leave your problems with God. Don't handle things on your own, because then you will end up alone.
