Turn that emotion into constructive energy

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on April 26, 2012 Keeping emotions in check is important right? Crying is fine for a moment but as quick as you can, turn those tears of frustration into something constructive. I am not talking about tears of joy or tears that arrive when you feel the spirit. I'm referring to the tears of pain. I know Men have a heavy load of not being able to show their emotion as much as Women are allowed to. Imagine how challenging that is to hold it in. Kudos to you Men for your strength and focus. Women must remember that even though our Men seem like Superman 24/7 they still experience the same emotions as us. What about those people who are very sensitive to what is going on with earth and the tears just come anytime anyplace? There are people like that who feel the pain of the world so just because they are emotional does not make them weak. How they handle those emotions is the key. I personally think it is a turn on to see a man express his tears of pain because it shows he is normal. But of course I do not want to see a man in pain on a regular basis. We like this song because of the meaning. Psalms 30: 5 says "For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Let it out in a constructive way vs a destructive way. If you enjoyed this article, Join HBCU CONNECT today for similar content and opportunities via email! |
