TROJANS News: VSU Hosts First Annual SAAC Student-Athlete Week

TROJANS News: VSU Hosts First Annual SAAC Student-Athlete Week
Posted By: How May I Help You NC on May 02, 2012

During the week of April 23-27, 2012, Virginia State University’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) hosted its 1st Annual SAAC Student-Athlete Week. During this week, the VSU student-athletes were provided with a different fun activity each day. The purpose of this week was to celebrate a year of success in athletics and academics. The activities were created to increase unity among teams and bring an ending to a great year! During Game Night students were provided with endless games, a spades tournament, a NBA 2K tournament and X-Box Connect Sports.

Bowling Night gave our student-athletes an opportunity to get together for a little friendly competition with their teammates and the administration. Student-athletes enjoyed good food, fellowship and volleyball during the SAAC Week Cookout.
