An international convening with 250 youth leaders representing eight countries, seven states and sixteen cities, will commence on the campus of Emory University for a “take-over” of Atlanta. Over the course of the Conference, New Look youth will lead the delivery of experiential trainings and workshops for more than 1,250 middle school students, demonstrating how they have personally applied their leadership skills and utilized their talents to implement change within local and global communities on a variety of issues.

Participants will also meet notable adult leaders including celebrities, global corporate executives, athletes, educators and philanthropists to better understand critical issues facing communities such as violence prevention, access to education, health and obesity, the environment and many other topics.

"The New Look Foundation is grateful to the 2011 World Leadership Conference and Awards Chairs who include: John and Cammie Rice, Michael and Lovette Russell, Rutherford and Laura Turner Seydel, Ralph and Maria de la Vega, Anne Sapp and Shera Pillsbury."
