Historic Poem
Posted By: Terrance McCreary on May 09, 2012 Before Senator, and now President Obama won the Presidential Election,I wrote this poem as if he had already accepted the peoples endorsement of him becoming The President of the United States of America. He is my greatest example of words of freedom, equality, and hope.I wrote the poem so that the world would understand the importance of African American Speeches. Also, to encourage, strengthen, inspire, motivate, and to applaud all people, especially African American People, who struggled to continue to speak with dignity, boldness, and uncompromisingly about the truth. Finally, to acknowledge and appreciate those African Americans who made their voices known in the past, present, and who will make their voice known in the future, words of freedom, equality, hope, and love.
