Tour of Duty: Various positions-Various shifts

Duty Location: Stratton VA Medical Center, Albany, New York

Salary Range: Salary to be determined based on education and experience

English Language Proficiency: RN's appointed to direct patient care positions must be proficient in spoken and written English as required in accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7402(d)

Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP): The applicant(s) selected for this position will be eligible to apply for an education loan reimbursement award under the provisions of the Education Debt Reduction Program subject to availability of EDRP funding.

DUTIES:

The Community Living Center serves Veterans with short term and long term needs. Treatment specialties include restorative care and maintenance care. Victory Lane staff care primarily for residents with long term care needs incorporating cultural transformation initiatives to provide a home like environment. Preference will be given to applicants with long term care, MDS experience. IV experience is a plus.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• U.S. Citizenship Required

• Selected candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment medical examinat

• Background security investigation will be required of all new hires

• This is a drug testing position under the VA Drug Free Workplace program
