If they are not complaining about going to practice, going off on one "our" quarterbacks, they are whining about looking professional on the job. A recent statement by Marcus Camby of the Denver Nuggets brings my point home. He said the NBA should give players a stipend to buy business casual dress for the newly installed dress code. Mind you that he signed a contract for $42 mill over the next six seasons. I bet those throwback jerseys from Mitchell and Ness cost 10 times more than a nice shirt and slacks. Jackie Robinson, Kenny Washington and Woody Strode must be turning over in their graves at their foolishness!When will ever learn. I agree with this. You didn't see Sidney Portier in a wife beater at the Oscars (lol). I think the dress code is a good idea. It would show that they respect themselves and are proffesional men. If they weren't in the NBA. Where would they be? Hmmm. Let me think. Oh yeah, I got it. They would be wearing suits going to job interviews. They let money get to their egos. Shame. They are role models for many young black males. Dun Dun Dun!
