Posted By: How May I Help You NC on July 20, 2012 By HBCUDigest.com The Olympic train headed to London keeps picking up fam from MEAC country, as Norfolk State alumna Debbie Dunn was recently named to the U.S. Olympic Team in the 1600-meter relay. Dunn finished fourth at Sunday’s Olympic trials, narrowly missing making the team in the open 400. She was told Sunday night, however, that she’ll be part of the six-person relay pool. “It’s bittersweet, because I wanted to get in the top three,” she said. “But I’m happy I made the relay. It’s not what I wanted, but I’m going to London, and I’m just so blessed.” Source: http://www.hbcudigest.com/norfolk-states-d...
