Former Hampton University Runner Medals in the Olympics!

Posted By: Will Moss on August 07, 2012 Former Hampton University runner Kellie Wells, 29, won a bronze medal today in the 100m hurdles with a time of 12.48. Australia's Sally Pearson won the gold and set a new Olympic record with her run of 12.35. American Dawn Harper won silver, according to the official London Olympics website. Wells easily won her semi-final heat in the 100m hurdles earlier today, qualifying for the final race. The other two American runners, Lolo Jones and Harper, also qualified for the final.
