Everyone loves a great college football rivalry, and Amtrak® can take you to Game Day to watch your favorite team. HBCU football classics are a tradition not to be missed.

Travel to Washington, DC and catch home team, Howard University take on Morehouse College in the Nations’ Football Classic at RFK Stadium on September 1. With 12 different Amtrak routes serving Washington, DC’s Union Station, it’s an easy ride to your favorite fall pastime.

Tennessee State fans welcome rival Jackson State in the Southern Heritage Classic on September 8 at the Memphis, TN Liberty Bowl and the Amtrak City of New Orleans® takes you there. This train features spacious Superliner accommodations, so you can get the party started in style.

With comfortable Coach seats or Sleeping accommodations at an additional fee, friendly service and casual dining in the Cross-Country Café SM, you can relax on your way to the game. Plan to make it a weekend and stop off at Beale Street afterwards to catch the vibrant Memphis blues scene. And on your return trip, enjoy the scenery from the panoramic windows of the Sightseer Lounge.

So whatever team you root for, relax and socialize onboard with other fans, without the worry of traffic or parking.
