Posted By: How May I Help You NC on August 27, 2012 The Tech Caller Program is currently undergoing an expansion from 16 to 24 calling stations. While the physical expansion was just completed, the Tech Caller Program Coordinator will head up an extensive recruitment and training effort to increase the staff from 45 to 70 fully trained callers by early September, 2012. The Tech Caller coordinator reports to the Director of Student & MIT10 Philanthropy Programs and directly oversees the nightly activity of the year round paid student calling program. S/he will recruit, interview, train, coach and manage a staff of 70+ students consisting of supervisors and callers in a 24-station automated calling environment. The Tech Caller coordinator will run shifts and ensure MIT’s priorities and goals are well represented to alumni and parents through the creation and maintenance of calling scripts. S/he will be responsible for the data management of the phonathon program. In addition to the nightly management of the student phonathon program, s/he will also assist in a student philanthropy campaign conducted throughout the year. Position requires full-time employment, with nights and weekends from September through June. A resourceful, creative, energetic and self-motivated team player, the successful candidate will possess: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently, a can-do, upbeat attitude, diplomacy, tact and discretion. A demonstrated talent to build and develop positive, cooperative relationships both internally and externally is important. Three years work experience or combination of education and experience required. Staff management experience and higher education telemarketing experience required. Experience utilizing Ruffalo Cody’s CampusCALL® highly preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. Knowledge of SQL and database software helpful.
