Posted By: How May I Help You NC on August 27, 2012 United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), National Wildlife Research Center (NWRC) is currently accepting applications on USAJobs.gov for a Research Biologist. The National Wildlife Research Center is the federal institution devoted to resolving problems caused by the interaction of wild animals and society. The research biologist will develop effective, targeted, environmentally safe pesticides by studying pharmacological mechanisms and toxicological outcomes, developing pharmacokinetic models, and performing risk assessments to estimate impacts on target and non-target species. Position Title: Research Biologist Location: Fort Collins, CO Series: GS-0401 Grade: 11/12 Open Period: Wednesday, August 1, 2012 to Tuesday, August 14, 2012 This position is subject to a Research Grade Evaluation Panel. Applicants that are placed at the GS-11 grade level are subject to evaluation by a Research Grade Evaluation Panel to determine eligibility to be promoted to the GS-12 grade level. ***Applicants must apply through USAJobs.gov to be considered for this position.
