Happy Labor Day!

Workers are recognized for their contributions to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. This Labor Day you can bet the President will get grilled on the employment numbers. There will be cheap shots thrown out about cancelling the day because America has no jobs. One website encourages readers to put an empty chair on their front lawns to represent the jobless. Some of the accusations will be warranted and others just mean-spirited. What really matters is this is Democratic National Convention week and the focus of the President, the administration and the people voting should be facts, plans and solutions. Don't get distracted, offended or waste time with a verbal fight back and forth today. Enjoy a cookout, some beach time or whatever you do, celebrate American labor! ... Then, think about how the presidential candidates look at the problem of joblessness, what they offer as the best solutions, and whether you think (not the pundits' opinions) the solutions make sense. Do you trust the candidate can do what they say? What are they NOT saying that matters to you? Pitfalls? It doesn't matter your political affiliation, it matters what you buy into. Happy Labor Day!!!
