Director of Programs & Education position vacancy at Chorus America!

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on September 07, 2012 The Director of Programs & Education is responsible for delivering first-rate, appealing Chorus America programs that meet member needs while balancing various priorities, including project budgets and timelines. S/he takes the lead in planning and implementing Chorus America’s Annual Conference, Conducting Masterclasses, Chorus Management Institutes, and online learning activities, among other programs. In addition, the Director of Programs & Education serves as the point person for existing education-related partnerships and advocacy efforts, as well as developing new partnerships in these areas as appropriate. This position requires working closely with other Chorus America staff, board leaders, consultants, and faculty on program content, logistics, promotion, and evaluation. The Director shares responsibility for supervising the Office Manager and Programs Assistant (who works half-time on programs), and participates on the staff website content development team. Some travel is required for this position. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the choral field and with arts and arts education policy and advocacy initiatives. Knowledge of Drupal, CiviCRM, or GoToMeeting is a plus. Click this link to view and apply for this job!
