Posted By: How May I Help You NC on January 30, 2013 This is a management and supervisory position responsible for the payment and collection operations of the Cash Management Office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Plan, direct, schedule and manage the operations of the University Cashiers Office. - Manage cashiers and student loan processing staff. - Perform interviews, recommend hiring, transfer, suspension, promotion and discharge of employees. - Serve as the liaison between departments and works closely with management to assure resolution of operational issues. - Assist students, parents and other Central State University departments to determine student account status. - Complete daily cash reconciliation using bank deposits, cashier reports for student accounts and loan account. - Process student refunds. - Process non sufficient funds corrections and collections. - Assist all other university departments with cash receipts. - Assist students with book advances/checks and processes book charge transactions. - Process all student billing and maintenance of fee tables. - Coordinate withdrawal processing with registrar. - Participate in various student appeal committees which impact student accounts.
