Penn State Harrisburg Hot Job: Lecturer/Sr. Lecturer Criminal Justice

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on February 11, 2013 Penn State Harrisburg, School of Public Affairs invites applications for a non-tenure track Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position effective August 2013. The Criminal Justice Program is part of the School of Public Affairs and offers a residential and online Bachelor of Science degree as well as the Master of Arts in Criminal Justice (MACJ). The successful candidate will be a generalist capable of teaching both residence and online lower-level core courses such as Introduction to Criminal Justice, Criminology, Introduction to Corrections, and Research Methods. Ideally, the candidate will also be able to teach a required introductory level criminal justice statistics course. There is also the potential for course development in the candidate’s area of interest and/or expertise. Those candidates with a record of scholarly activity will be considered for teaching courses at the graduate level. The successful candidate should be prepared to be an active member of the faculty who contributes to program governance and student advising.
