Manage the information systems required to support the maintenance, operation, engineering, project management, compliance, energy conservation and other key areas for operating a large multi-unit Physical Plant Department. Identify and prioritize systems upgrades, new installations, back up and security of critical data related to all systems used by Physical Plant to provide a safe, efficient and productive avenue for staff who maintain and operate the campus facilities. Software used by Physical Plant includes but not limited to, Honeywell EBI, Johnson Controls Metysys, KRONOS , FAMIS, School Dude Utilities, DELTA V Industrial Plant Controls for Central Plant Operation, Morse Key Watcher system for key control, TISCOR Bar Coding for life safety systems inspections and operations, Water Treatment Controls, Code Blue Emergency Light, Burglar Alarm systems, Emergin Paging System. Direct personnel on development and maintenance of multi-million dollar budget. Oversee the creation and distribution of reports to appropriate individuals relating to all systems used by Facilities personnel. Oversee the recruitment, hiring, supervision, evaluation and progressive discipline of employees in area of responsibility.
