This position reports to the Director of Physical Plant and works within a broader division that has a universal commitment to workplace diversity and inclusion, environmental sustainability and delivering great experiences to customers. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required with disciplines in Information Technology, Business Management, Computer Engineering preferred, six years demonstrated experience in: management of a large or multi-faceted 24/7 facility or construction operation including coordination of facilities maintenance and repair services; technical knowledge of information systems and processes.; administration of successful computer programs; supervisory skills; budget management; comprehensive knowledge of computerized systems/software appropriate to physical plant operations required. Ability to research, analyze, draw conclusions and make recommendations for problem resolution required. Ability to establish assignment priorities to ensure timely completion of multiple projects required. Certifications in Facilities Management from APPA, IFMA, BOMA or other recognized facilities related organization highly desirable. Ability to work effectively with a variety of University community members in a service oriented environment to accomplish goals and objectives. Effective human relations abilities and oral and written communication skills, understanding of academic environment and a demonstrated commitment to, and proven track record with workplace diversity and inclusion, environmental sustainability, and delivery of exceptional value and customer service.
