Ignite your inner Intrapreneur. Apply now for year-long salaried education reform fellowship!

Are you ready to create change from within?
Ignite your inner Intrapreneur. Become a NACSA Fellow.

To learn more about the NACSA Fellows Program and request an application please visit www.qualitycharters.org/fellows-program or email fellows@qualitycharters.org.

The National Association of Charter School Authorizers (NACSA) is committed to further developing the charter school authorizing profession and building a pipeline of talent. NACSA established the Fellows Program in 2012 to identify high-potential young professionals who have launched their careers but are seeking new opportunities to create the systemic change necessary to improve outcomes for students. NACSA Fellows use their talents and operate with the passion, creativity and drive of entrepreneurs, but instead create change within the existing system… as Intrapreneurs.

Charter school authorizers ensure the quality of charter schools by determining which new school proposals to approve, setting clear performance standards for those schools, monitoring each school’s performance, and making high stakes, performance-based decisions to renew or close charter schools.

Effective authorizing is critical to the quality of the charter school movement and to the lives of the more than two million children who attend charter schools.

NACSA Fellows enjoy a paid opportunity to build their skills while improving the quality of charter authorizing and charter schools:
• A year-long salaried placement in the office of a charter school authorizer with one of the largest portfolios of schools
• An in-depth pre-placement orientation in late August that covers the fundamentals of effective authorizing practices
• Ongoing personal and professional development, including
o Weekly coaching and support calls
o Regular access to national expertise
o Quarterly in-person professional development opportunities

Fellows hit the ground running, gaining valuable on-the-job experience and direct exposure to the authorizing life-cycle through their placement with a Partner authorizer. They build out their professional network while learning and practicing critical leadership skills.
