Key responsibilities include serving as liaison between the Advancement division and the deans and faculty of both schools; working closely with the deans to coordinate all Advancement activities of the Deans and their respective faculties; collaborating with Development staff to monitor and organize engagement and solicitation efforts with individual donors; coordinating with Corporate and Foundation Relations to advance organizational support for the benefit of both schools; work closely with Advancement Marketing and Communications to create an annual communications plan and to develop, produce, and distribute relevant materials to Lynch School and STM constituents. Conceives of and implements special events for the purpose of educating and cultivating potential donors and supervises an Assistant or Associate Director of School Development. Extensive travel throughout the year may be required to accomplish these goals. In concert with the overall fundraising needs of the University, the Director will work periodically on special projects in collaboration with senior management in Advancement and/or fundraising staff.
