Alcorn State 2013 Spring Football Game

Posted By: Reginald Culpepper on April 12, 2013 The Alcorn State Braves football team will host its annual spring football game on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Jack Spinks-Marino Casem Stadium. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m. Head Football Coach Jay Hopson enters his second year at the helm of the Braves. The Braves are coming off a 4-7 record during the 2012 season with hopes of making it to the 2013 SWAC Championship game in Birmingham, Alabama. The Braves are returning 62 lettermen from last season and Coach Hopson and his staff signed 26 newcomers and six transfers during the off season. The Braves Football team invites you to meet the coaches, players, and new signees along with prospects. Bring your grill and come tailgate with the Braves during the post-game Meet & Greet. Coach Hopson is excited to put his team through an aggressive 60-minute drill to showcase the explosive offense and sting/shut-down defense.
