Well it's summer time and things have slowed down a bit on campus and on the event schedule, so we're looking to you to let us know what you'd like to see us improve on the website!?

If you have ideas, or recommendations for what we might fix, add, or delete on the site, please post your comments on this page.

I will personally be reviewing each response and making decisions on what my team should focus on based on your input.

We are grateful for you being a member of HBCUConnect.com and look forward to, and really appreciate any and all ideas and responses!!!

Sincerely,

Will Moss | CEO & Founder

A more organized placement for ads, I feel as if the ads are all over the website and it is overwhelming. Also a broader variety of job opportunities, is seems like there are posting for the same 15 companies. more updates photos of current HBCUs and perhaps an area encouraginbg HBCU students to study abroad or volunteer abroad for a term or during the breaks.

Hi Shakesha, thanks for the feedback. There are actually thousands of jobs from hundreds of employers on our site, so we will figure out how to make that more accessible going forward. Also we'll take your other input into our planning as well! Please make sure your address on file is correct as we will send you a free HBCUConnect.com T-Shirt for your feedback!

Good Day Will Moss,

I would like to see a few things. First thing I'd like to see is a REALISTIC resume / job bank. I myself have never worked in the private or business sector nor am I am entrepreneur. I have always worked for gov't [city gov't to be exact]. All I see are poitions in either sales or marketing. ....and I know that there are other employment sectors than those two. I have a B.A. in Political Science from Wilberforce University and it disheartens me to know that all that I see from employers on HBCU Connect are connected to marketing or sales.

Second thing I'd like to see is a local networking connecting vehicle of HBCU graduates who live in either the same OR nearby areas in these states across the country. Networking on the site is fine. But can we at least TRY to step it up a notch and meet members face to face outside of HBCU Connect sanctioned events or gatherings in one location or another? I am almost certain that there are many members near me in Bronx, NY. We could network locally as well as uniformlally. These are just 2 improvements to HBCU Connect that I'd like to see.

Hello Lorenzo - On the jobs front, we actually have many opportunities beyond sales and marketing. Right now we are promoting opportunities with the Department of State and the Veterans Administration right now. Maybe we can do a better job of highlighting the different types of careers? Are you seeing the employers for marketing and sales in email?

As for the local networking, this is something we would like to get off the ground, but have historically lacked the resources or internal staff to manage and coordinate it. If you have ideas on how we might make this happen, lets talk more.
