"I decided to become a student at Central State University while touring it as a sophomore in high school. As soon as I saw the Sunken Garden and the Clock Tower I knew it was the school & home away from home for me!" What professors at Central State University are leaving the most impression upon you as a person and student? What did they do that continues to mean so much to you to this day? "My former voice professor/ academic adviser Prof. Lee Hoffman, & former fine arts department chair/ chorus director William H. Caldwell. These people pushed me to see myself as they saw me, a future professional in my field which is music and education. They inspired me to push past what I thought was holding me back as a student & person in order to succeed. Words can’t even express my gratitude." What is the story of your “experience” to date at Central State University given its heralded status as a stellar and prestigious institution? "My first week as a freshman, also known as ‘Pirate Week‘. During that time we learn about our university: from the oldest building to the current university president.
