Dr. Judson resigns as President of Knoxville College

Posted By: Reginald Culpepper on October 21, 2013 The Board of Trustees of Knoxville College voted on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 to accept the resignation of Dr. Horace Judson as president of Knoxville College effective December 31, 2013. The letter sent to Dr. Judson for Chairmen Reese stated in part : We appreciate your service to the College. On behalf of the Knoxville College Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends, I thank you for your three years of service to the College and the many efforts to support and sustain the life of the College. To ensure a smooth transition, the Board has approved establishment of a Management Team to work with you in the time period until December 31, 2013. The team, Mr. Frank Robinson, Ms. C. Virginia Fields, Dr. Evelyn Hallman, Dr. Otis Hill, and Dr. Lulu Powell, requests a first meeting with you on Thursday, October 24 from 9 to 11 a.m. Subsequent meetings can be decided at that time. We look forward to working with you to develop straightforward and appropriate plans to smoothly conclude your time with the College while also supporting the educational needs of our students.
